Lauren’s Bridals

Wowwwweee! This was one fun shoot! Well, it didn’t start off on a good foot…you see, it was pouring rain. Wedding dresses+camera+rain= No bueno.  Just when it all seemed like a no-go, the downpour turned to a light sprinkle, the clouds started to part, and the most gorgeous sunset was revealed.  It was well worth the wait! Also, can I just say, BOTH mothers (bride’s mother and groom’s mother) were there.  A lot of the time, this is a bad, bad thing. But these moms are seriously COOL! They are funny, down to earth, and really had good input. I had a ton of fun with the whole gang that was there.  I even got an award winning shot of the mother of the bride.  Bonus! I am booked to do their wedding on Tuesday, and I seriously can’t wait. Here are some of my favorite shots from the session:

L+C Engagements

I had the honor of taking Lauren and Conner’s engagement photos.  They are an adorable couple, and you can really see the love they have for each other.  I also did a bridal session with Lauren, but that’s for another post. Let’s just say, she has the most gorgeous dress EVER and makes the most gorgeous bride EVER. Here are some of my favs:

 

 

Brynn’s 2 year pictures

Can I just say that I LOVE getting professional photos of my kid for free?? I guess that’s one perk of being a photographer.  In February, my little Brynn turned 2.  I have been told by a dozen or so people that she is the wildest child they have ever been around.  (But I already knew that…let’s just say I always have to up my shutter speed a ton when photographing her)  Along with being totally wild, she is also a very compassionate and tender hearted human being.  She will drop what she is doing if she sees anyone sad or hurt, and run over to help them.  I am one blessed mama.  Here are a few of my favorites from our shoot(s).

Bell Family

Oh dearie me, I have slacked on my website. Between family emergencies and taking a month’s break, I haven’t updated in a few months.  Welp, lets play some catch-up.  I was able to photograph a very sweet family a few months ago.  Melissa and Craig have taken in two foster children, and they sure make up one beautiful family.  Due to legalities, pictures of the children are prohibited online.  Here is my favorite of the happy couple.  I wish their family the best!
