Sunday I had a shoot with a sweet family of 5. Two of the prettiest little girls and the sweetest little baby boy were a joy to take photos of. It was extremely cold outside, and the kids were not having it after about 10 minutes. We still managed to get some wonderful shots though… talking about My Little Pony worked like a charm to get some sweet smiles.
What a shoot this was. Little baby Maribell was not pleased. Maribell was 6 weeks old during this “old-born” shoot. Once babies are past that 2-3 week mark, its just about impossible to get those sweet little sleepy shots. She was awake for the whole thing but we got some great shots of her and her little personality! She is a sweetheart. Babies just make me melt. Love them. Lots of little sentences. OK. Done.
Here are a few pictures from the Lowe’s family session. Kelsey sat next to me in college astronomy . I’m pretty sure we didn’t learn anything seeing as how all we did was giggle and make jokes about uranus to each other and our teacher. It was good seeing her again. After about 4 years we both have changed a lot seeing as how we both are married with kids now, and hopefully grown up some, too. (Uranus. Nope, still funny.) Her family is adorable and she has the best taste in clothes.
’twas a pleasant surprise when an old friend whom I hadn’t seen since the days of high school jazz choir asked me if I would do her engagement pictures. I LOVE being around people in love. And let me tell you, these two are the cutest little lovebirds ever. I got a warm fuzzy feeling when I got home and started processing their photos…they are super duper in love.
